Falcon 9 Stands Tall At SLC-40

Rocket Raised Two Days Ahead Of Schedule

Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) announced this week its Falcon 9 launch vehicle was successfully raised to vertical on Saturday, January 10 at Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) in Cape Canaveral, FL -- two days ahead of schedule. This operation was a critical step in validating a variety of system interfaces and launch processes in preparation for the maiden flight of Falcon 9 later this year.
