Brazil-Registered PA-46 Matrix Aircraft Can Now Take Advantage Of Avidyne's Integrated Flight Deck

Brazil's Agência Nacional De Aviação Civil (ANAC) has granted approval to Avidyne Corporation for installation of the Entegra Release 9 (R9) Integrated Flight Deck suite in Brazilian-registered Piper PA-46 Matrix aircraft.

Piper Matrix R9 Flight Deck

"This ANAC approval of Entegra Release 9 for the Piper Matrix continues our growth in the Brazilian market and expands the reach for our industry-leading flight deck," said Patrick Herguth, Avidyne's Chief Operating Officer.  "This past year Avidyne has certified our DFC90 autopilot and R9 for Brazil-registered Cirrus aircraft, and now we can offer R9 for Matrix customers."

"R9 delivers significant improvements in ease of use, performance, and safety and customers around the world are taking notice," said Dan Schwinn, Avidyne's President and CEO.  "Avidyne's aggressive certification schedule allows us to continually expand our total available market for our products in the United States, Brazil, and around the world."

The Entegra Release 9 retrofit for Piper PA-46 Matrix aircraft includes two XGA high-resolution IFD5000 displays, dual-redundant FMS900w systems with control/display Keyboard, next-generation fully-digital 16-watt VHF NAV/COM radios, and dual WAAS/RNP-capable GPS receivers.
