WingX Pro7 Version 6.5 Adds Track Up In Moving Map

Rotates Charts So Aircraft Is Always Traveling Up The Screen

Hilton Software LLC has updated its flagship product WingX Pro7 with Track Up capability. By leveraging the multi-layered architecture of its patent-pending split-screen technology, WingX Pro7 seamlessly rotates VFR and IFR enroute charts so that the aircraft is always traveling up the screen. WingX Pro7 rotates airport and fix identifiers, VOR identifiers and frequencies, as well as ADS-B weather and traffic and other important information.

“This is more than Track Up – this is what I call Environment Up," said Hilton Software CEO Dr. Hilton Goldstein. "Track Up has been one of the most highly requested features and after flying with the new Track Up feature in WingX Pro7 we sure know why. We have found that pilots quickly forget that they are looking at an enroute chart that has been rotated because of our smooth ‘Environment Up’ rendering capabilities. For example, flying IFR with a Track Up IFR enroute chart overlayed with dynamic terrain as well as ADS-B weather and traffic while simultaneously viewing a geo-referenced approach chart is a significant step forward in situational awareness – no other iPad app even comes close. Track Up even works on the iPhone.”

Availability WingX Pro7 Version 6.5 is a free update for registered users. WingX Pro7 is compatible with and optimized for iPad and iPhone and is available for download from the App Store and iTunes.
