TruTrak Working On Multiple STCs For Cessna 172

Would Allow For Installation Of Eco And Vizion Autopilots

TruTrak Flight Systems is working on STCs for installation of the Eco and Vizion Autopilots aboard Cessna 172s. TruTrak has acquired a Skyhawk, completed the initial installation of a full Vizion system, and the roll axis installation for the Eco. The Eco pitch axis installation will be completed following EAA AirVenture.

Both the Vizion and Eco autopilots will be installed in the aircraft so that patrons may see and learn about each system. The complete product line will be on display at the indoor booth in building C 3030.

“We are very excited about both of these new projects.” said CEO Andrew Barker “Our dream has long been to offer the same safety enhancing autopilots to the certified market that we have been offering the experimental market for the last fifteen years.”

The Skyhawk will be on display in TruTrak’s outdoor booth at AirVenture.

Founded in 1999, TruTrak is a leader and innovator in the experimental and light sport aircraft autopilot market. TruTrak has designed and manufactured many cutting edge autopilots including the autopilots in the Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer and most recently Solar Impulse.
