NBAA 2012 Provides Focused Forum For Aviation Advocacy
The annual NBAA convention, heretofore to be called "BACE" has become a focal point for the business aviation community and a great spot to seek the pulse of the industry as it attempts to survive in less than optimal times. From politics to the economic climate, its obvious that the aviation world, and business aviation in particular, has a target on its back that several dedicated organizations are attempting to ameliorate despite the uphill battle we face.
One of those making the case for aviation and especially the GA side of it is a rather new player in the aviation political arena known as the Alliance for Aviation Across America.
Formed in 2007, the Alliance for Aviation Across America is a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of over 5,900 individuals, businesses, agricultural groups, FBO’s, small airports, elected officials, charitable organizations, and leading business and aviation groups that are helping to raise awareness about the value of general aviation and local airports, particularly for rural communities. For these communities, general aviation and local airports support business activity, medical care, disaster relief, fire fighting, agriculture, law enforcement, and a host of important resources and services.
