Dassault's Falcon 2000S Flies Into Brazilian Market

2000 Falcons Now In Operation Around The World

The first Falcon 2000S has been delivered in Brazil following certification by ANAC, Brazil's aviation regulatory authority, late last year.

"The Falcon 2000S is a terrific option for customers in Brazil and elsewhere in South America," said John Rosanvallon, President and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet. "It can reach any two cities non-stop anywhere within South America and can readily handle the remote airstrips and the hot and high conditions the continent is known for."

Launched in May 2011 and certified by EASA and the FAA in early 2013, the 2000S brings a large cabin aircraft to the super mid-sized business jet market. 15 units have been handed over to date.

The event boosted the active Falcon fleet to 2,000 aircraft, flown by 1,191 operators in 88 countries - testimony to the immense popularity of the Falcon jet line around the globe. Among these are more than 500 Falcon 2000's, including the 2000S.

The 3,350 nm aircraft features inboard slats, high-Mach blended winglets and a new generation PW308C engine that produces fewer emissions. It is equipped with an entirely new BMW Group DesignworksUSA interior and a redesigned cockpit featuring a next-generation EASy II flight deck.

Dassault says the Falcon 2000S can climb directly to 41,000 feet in 19 minutes, reach a mid-cruise altitude of 45,000 feet and offer a certified ceiling of 47,000 feet.
