AeroSports Update: The EAA Aviation Challenge

The EAA Aviation Challenge Is Designed To Inspire You And Others

Everyone in general aviation (GA) knows that to promote the growth of GA, we need to find ways to interest other people. Examples we’ve featured before are offering familiarization trips to the airport with friends and neighbors, taking them for an airplane ride, and working with our airport to sponsor aviation day open house events.

Now, EAA’s Aviation Challenge has found another way to help keep aviation interests at the forefront. Here’s how it works. Each month EAA will challenge you and your friends to discover aviation by going on a specific adventure. During it, capture what inspires you, piques your interests, and encourages you to explore aviation further. Then share a photo and story about your experience with the hashtag #AVChallenge.

EAA will add your photos to an online album and share them across their digital and social channels. Then you and aviation enthusiasts and pilots around the world will be able to see all the amazing stories happening in aviation today.

EAA says your story could even turn into something bigger that’ll inspire others to join in. They urge you to watch the EAA website and social channels for a new challenge at the start of each month and share away!

Starting April 1, EAA challenges you to visit an aviation museum, near or far, sometime during the month.

To help you get started, EAA listed 13 of their favorite aviation museums in the U.S. This list can be accessed through our FMI link provided below. Another good place for museum location and information can be found on www.travelforaircraft.wordpress.com

Then, EAA asked you to share a photo of your museum visit on your favorite social media channel. Include the hashtag #AVChallenge. Be sure to share it in the month of April and watch for it in the EAA album.
