But Will The Flight Crue Be ... Motley?

Motley Crue Frontman Vince Neil Enters The Charter Jet Business

Pardon the pun, but it was just kind of hanging out there like a big, slow curve. And yes, April 1st is still a few days away. Vince Neil the frontman for the rock band Motley Crue, says he will soon be in the charter jet business with Vince Neil Aviation, based in Las Vegas at McCarren Airport's (KLAS) Signature Terminal. Neil says he has purchased a Hawker 700, a Lear 35, and a Gulfstream, and decked them all out in "rock and roll décor".

The New York Daily News reports that the jets will be available for trips in about 10 days. Neil reportedly told the Las Vegas Sun "They are all now finished, all tricked out."

We're trying to visualize that.

Neil says the 8-passenger Hawker will make the trip to New York nonstop, while the 7-passenger Lear will need to make one fuel stop to make the same trip. But he said all the jets would be perfect for "short hops" to LA, Mexico, Canada, or destinations like Aspen.

Neil told the Sun he expects to be up and running soon. No word on whether Vince Neil Aviation will allow smokin' in the boys room on domestic flights.
