Joe Dalton Joins The National Air Transportation Association Compliance Services

Named Director of Security Overseeing Regulatory Efforts

NATACS welcomes Joe Dalton as its Director of Security. Dalton joins NATACS after serving as Director, Aviation Security for NetJets Inc. and previously Manager, Security for NetJets International over the last 17 years. He represented NetJets on a wide range of global security efforts and achieved regulatory compliance with five foreign and four domestic security programs.

In his new role with NATACS, Dalton will oversee the security and regulatory efforts for NATA Compliance Services, working closely with the technology and operations teams to expand and deploy security initiatives that serve the commercial and corporate aviation communities.

“We are proud to have Joe as part of our NATACS Team,” says Michael Sundheim, Chief Executive Officer. “Joe brings robust experience and a deep knowledge of our customers and their needs, along with his work with industry stakeholders including the Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the State Department, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.”

The National Air Transportation Association Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, John McGraw states: “We are very excited to have Joe join the NATA team. He brings a depth of experience that will enhance and broaden our interface with our security partners in both industry and government.”

Dalton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management with Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa.

NATACS is a veteran aviation industry solution and service provider ranging from fingerprinting, training, identification badging, credential management, document management, industry-specific background checks and third-party administration for anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention programs to comply with TSA, Department of Transportation and the FAA requirements.
