Hartzell Approves Intercontinental Jet As Recommended Service Facility

Facility Based In Tulsa, OK

Hartzell Propeller Inc. has appointed Intercontinental Jet Service Corp. as a Recommended Service Facility. Based in Oklahoma at Tulsa International Airport, Intercontinental Jet Service's Propeller Shop provides overhaul and repair services for the central plains.

"Intercontinental Jet Service is a respected addition to Hartzell Propeller's U.S. network of Recommended Service Facilities, which adds an experienced propeller repair station that is part of a larger maintenance organization with a sterling reputation for superior service," said Hartzell Executive Vice President JJ Frigge. "Propeller Shop Manager Heath Tate and his skilled staff have more than four decades of experience and we are delighted to welcome them to our network of select shops."

"Intercontinental Jet Service is thrilled to become a part of Hartzell Propeller's recommended service providers and we are looking forward to being able to work with such a prestigious propeller manufacturer on the leading edge of technology and aerodynamics," said International Jet President Larry Hughes. Intercontinental Jet Service handles major inspections, heavy structural repairs and modifications and avionics upgrades for numerous aircraft makes and models. Information about Intercontinental Jet Service can be found at ijetservice.com.

The addition of Intercontinental Jet Service as the company's 25th recommended facility continues Hartzell Propeller's growth around the world of leading edge facilities that are capable of meeting Hartzell's rigorous standards for customer service. In many cases, Hartzell Propeller requirements significantly exceed those of the governing airworthiness authorities.

Hartzell encourages customers to use a Recommended Service Facility for propeller repairs and overhauls. As an approved facility, Intercontinental Jet Service performs high-quality propeller overhaul and repair work compatible with Hartzell's customer commitment to quality and performance.

It joins other Hartzell Recommended Service Facilities located throughout the Americas, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia. This group of affiliated facilities, with factory trained technicians and state of the art equipment, ensures that owners and operators of Hartzell propellers are only a short flight, or drive, away from the best Hartzell recommended propeller service in the industry.

To achieve Hartzell's Recommended Service Facility designation an operation must meet a number of stringent requirements, including on-site quality systems and process audits and use of factory trained and highly qualified propeller experts. In addition, the new Recommended Service Facility is required to maintain Hartzell-approved specialized propeller tools and equipment along with meeting the company's special process approvals on an ongoing basis.
