Canada Jetlines to Begin Cabin Crew Education

New Airline Obtains Conditional Approval for Flight Attendant Training

The new "all Canadian leisure carrier" up north has received conditional approval for its Flight Attendant Training from Transport Canada with immediate effect.

March proved to be a busy month for the outfit, collecting a uniform provider in Unisync, obtaining Stage 1 licensing approval from the CTA, and appointing a well-seasoned travel industry exec as CFO. Now, their flight attendant training program is nearly ready for action, with a conditional approval in hand to begin putting things into practice. Final approval of their training will be granted once Transport Canada has a chance to review the program in practice and it proves to be satisfactory. The training is another milestone in the young company's history, demarcating the start of its cabin preparation and first large governmental approval.

"This is an important milestone in the Air Operator Certificate process with Transport Canada. Our first Flight Attendants will start their Flight Attendant Training Program in April and are scheduled to have completed training at the end of May,” shared Eddy Doyle, CEO of Canada Jetlines. “We have an outstanding group of individuals who will become our first Cabin Crew at Canada Jetlines and who will bring the best of both safety and customer service excellence to our customers on-board”.
