Leonardo Selects Jupiter Avionics Audio Controllers For The AW109 Trekker

Transport Canada TSO Accepted By Both FAA And EASA

Jupiter’s new JA95-N70 Audio Controllers have been selected by Leonardo for installation on the AW109 Trekker Helicopter.

The JA95-N70 is a compact audio controller with individual volume adjustment for all receive audio signals. The unit is configured using Jupiter’s signature programmable configuration software (ProCS) and features field interchangeable legends, ensuring adaptability to a broad range of mission requirements.

The JA95-N70 is certified to Transport Canada CAN-TSO C139.  Bi-Lateral Agreements mean that CAN-TSO C139 is accepted by both the FAA and EASA.

Jupiter Avionics Corporation designs and manufactures airborne audio control equipment and accessories, mainly for special mission rotary and fixed wing aircraft.  Based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Jupiter is a global exporter to OEM’s, Dealers and Operators.  Dallas Avionics is a stocking distributor for the US market.  Jupiter is a Transport Canada Approved Manufacturing and Maintenance Organization and has Delegation of Authority as a Design Approval Organization.

The AgustaWestland AW109 Trekker is the latest addition to Leonardo’s portfolio of class leading light twin-engine helicopters, and the first light twin-engine to offer skid landing gear. Designed to provide the perfect solution for utility, public services and aerial work operations, the AW109 Trekker features new avionics and maintains the same characteristics of high productivity, excellent flying qualities, high controllability and maneuverability, robustness and high inherent safety features of the AW109 series.
