Aero Club Of New England (ACONE) Holds 14th Annual Crash Course Seminar

Talking About The Basics

Aero Club of New England, the oldest aero club in the Americas, will hold its 14th annual CRASH COURSE March 10th at the Renaissance Bedford Hotel, 44 Middlesex Turnpike in Bedford (MA).

The seminar will feature nationally recognized lead speaker Bruce Landsberg of the AOPA Air Safety Foundation. His interactive presentation will concentrate on maneuvering flight accidents with a review of local accidents.

Maneuvering Flight is not just about buzzing. When you operate in the traffic pattern, do aerial work, formation flying, or practice stalls and spins, you are performing maneuvering flight. This new Safety Seminar will give you the information you need to: make a correct base-to-final turn; avoid distractions before landing; improve skills in formation flight; avoid stalling at low altitudes; and avoid overstressing your aircraft. In short, attendees will come away with a clearer insight as to how to improve flying proficiency and become a better, safer pilot.

This seminar qualifies towards the FAA Wings program. ACONE, the AOPA Safety Foundation, and the FAA Aviation Safety Program are sponsors of the program.
