Now Includes Purdue University
During the very busy Oshkosh week, Piper Aircraft announced the expansion of their brand ambassador program to include the Purdue University School of Aviation and Transportation Technology.

Piper Brand Ambassadors leverage their social media channels to promote their individual pilot training journey and act as advocates for the aviation industry. The program is designed to increase awareness of the degree paths offered by Purdue University as well as showcase the Piper training product line in use at a collegiate flight school. The collaborative initiative is expected to create a community of like-minded aviation enthusiasts with a career interest in aviation.
Together, Piper Aircraft and the team at Purdue University recruited and selected the new ambassador. The selection was based on the individual's enthusiasm, versatility and passion. Purdue University sophomore, Paige Bishop, will be the first Ambassador from the school and will join a team of five ambassadors from other collegiate flight programs throughout the United States. She will have the opportunity to speak about the aerospace program and campus life experience, as well as share her personal training journey story using social media channels like Instagram. Most importantly, she will be able to provide a glimpse into the exciting life of a pilot and will help inspire future aviators.

"Paige Bishop is a passionate aviator and has been a strong supporter and advocate of our industry. Not only does her family own a PA-28, she worked with her local EAA chapter on the restoration of a Piper Cub as part of her senior project for high school. She is the perfect ambassador to talk about the Purdue University aviation program as well as Piper products and the important role they play in training the next generation of pilots," said Jackie Carlon, Senior Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications. "Ultimately we believe that expanding the Brand Ambassador program to Purdue will help us continue to promote the aviation industry and the opportunities that exist."
"I couldn't be more thrilled to have the opportunity to represent both Purdue University and Piper Aircraft! Ever since my first flight around my hometown, I have developed a growing passion for everything aviation that I cannot wait to share with other students and future aviators across many platforms. Going off to college is a big step, but my move to Purdue with the familiar Piper fleet felt like coming home," said Paige Bishop. "I am beyond excited to share many more Piper stories and experiences with you all in the future, but for now, I would like to thank everyone for this opportunity!"
