Jet Aviation Adds 2nd Gulfstream G650 To Its Fleet

Charter Company Manages 27 Aircraft In Asia

Jet Aviation is adding a second Gulfstream G650 to its managed fleet in Asia and now operates a total of 27 aircraft in the region. Delivery of the G650 is expected by the end of April 2014.

Jet Aviation has recently signed an aircraft management agreement for its second Gulfstream G650 in Asia, increasing the company’s fleet in the region to 27 aircraft — up from just three aircraft in 2009. To support its rapidly expanding fleet, Jet Aviation has also added new staff to its operations and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) teams in Hong Kong, which currently employs approximately 100 aviation professionals, including crew members.

The new G650 will be based in Hong Kong and is due to be delivered by the end of April 2014. The aircraft will be maintained by Jet Aviation’s Hong Kong maintenance facility, which is a Gulfstream Factory Authorized Warranty Service Center for G450/G550/G650 aircraft.

“Five years ago we had a fleet of three aircraft; today we manage 27,” says Iris Riesen, managing director of Jet Aviation’s aircraft management and charter division in Hong Kong. “We are fully committed to providing the highest quality service and this fleet expansion demonstrates our dedication and ability to meet the expectations of our discerning clients.”
