Piper Appoints Australian Sales Agent

Aircraft Are On Display At Avalon 2011

Piper Aircraft is continuing to expand its international reach with the designation of Piper Australia Aircraft Sales Pty Ltd, Melbourne, as the company's new aircraft sales agent for the Commonwealth of Australia. Piper Australia Aircraft Sales is an associate company of Moorabbin Flying Services; with an all-Piper fleet, MFS is one of the best flying schools in Australia. Piper Aircraft made the announcement at Avalon 2011.

Piper Aircraft, Piper Australia Aircraft Sales and Moorabbin Flying Services will exhibit a Piper Matrix, Warrior, and Seminole aircraft at Avalon 2011, the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition, held March 1-6 at Avalon Airport near Geelong in Victoria.

"We have chosen one of the best and most experienced Piper flying organizations in Australia to be our new aircraft sales agent on this great continent," said Jackie Carlon, Piper Aircraft's director of marketing, who is representing the company at the highly acclaimed Australian airshow.  "As we expand our global visibility it will be a great help that Piper Australia Aircraft Sales knows our airplanes inside and out.  We are thrilled to be collaborating with such an excellent company at one of the largest aviation venues in the Southern Hemisphere."

Brian Jones, CEO of Piper Australia Aircraft Sales, says "We are so delighted to be Piper Aircraft's new airplane sales agent in Australia, and we are looking forward to working with the company to expand its presence here.  In addition, we are happy to be exhibiting with them at Avalon 2011."
