ATG To Exhibit Its Javelin In The Land Down Under

Will Showcase VLJ At Australian Air Show

Aviation Technology Group, Inc. tells ANN its sleek, two-seat Javelin civil jet will be on display in Australia for the first time at the Australian Air Show in Melbourne. The Javelin full-scale mockup will be on exhibit in the static display area next to the Joint Strike Fighter.

"We're excited to bring the Javelin to Australia," said Dan Novick, managing director of Danair Aviation, the Javelin distributor for Australia and New Zealand. "We expect to ignite new enthusiasm for the Javelin in the local aviation market."

The Javelin design is unique, in that it brings fighter-jet mystique to the very light jet market. It combines glass instrumentation, safety features, and jet engines featuring wide-sweep fan technology into a two-place personal jet.

"All of us at ATG are very excited by the long-term prospects for Javelin sales in Australia and New Zealand," said ATG Chairman George Bye. "We believe our participation in the Australian Air Show will help us reach potential customers who'll find the Javelin an ideal complement to their personal fleets."

ATG's first Javelin demonstrator prototype aircraft flew its inaugural flight on September 30, 2005. Flight tests at ATG facilities near Denver, CO are ongoing, and four subsequent conforming aircraft are being designed and built for FAA certification.
