Thiene Airport Location Said To Be 'Center' Of Italian GA Activities

Piper Aircraft Inc. recently named B&C Piper Sales as the company’s new aircraft sales agent for Italy. Located at Thiene Airport (LIDH) in Northern Italy close to Venice, B&C Piper Sales is situated in the center of Italian general aviation activities.

“B&C Piper Sales is well versed in Italian aircraft sales, maintenance and service operations,” said Piper Head of Global Sales and Business Development Drew McEwen. “Director Willj Casato is well known in Italian business, and his aviation background and experience will greatly contribute to Piper’s penetration in this significant European market.”

McEwen said Casato will work closely with Enrico Evers, Piper’s Director of Sales for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). B&C Piper Sales is a part of B&C Srl. Unipersonale, which is well known in Italian business circles.

Director Casato said, “Italy’s diversified industrial economy, dominated by small and medium-sized family-owned private companies involved in the manufacture of high-quality consumer goods, is proving to be the perfect market for Piper’s economical M-Class and Twin-Class aircraft. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with one of the best-known aircraft manufacturers in the world.”

B&C Piper Sales Director Daniela Faccioli is responsible for administration, financing and orders. Sales Manager Stefano Marchesin has a background in aircraft sales, and he is a certified ground instructor and certified ICAO language proficiency examiner working closely with the Italian aviation authorities. He also is an author of aviation books.
