NASA Postdoctoral Program Applications Open

Johnson Space Center Offering One- To Three-Year Fellowships

Applications are being solicited for the NASA Postdoctoral Program at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The Human Adaptation and Countermeasures Division of the JSC Space Life Sciences Directorate offers unique research opportunities in the areas of skeletal health, nutrition, and radiation and biological systems.

These one- to three-year fellowship appointments are competitive and are designed to advance the U.S. Space Exploration Policy. Application deadlines occur three times per year on Nov. 1, March 1 and July 1.

Applicants must submit a research proposal that relates to a specific opportunity for research at NASA. A proposal must be the original work of the applicant and be coordinated with a sponsoring NASA scientist listed with the opportunity. Applicants can communicate directly with the sponsor for the research opportunity for more specific information on research topics and available technical facilities.

The NASA Postdoctoral Program is operated by the contractor Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU).
