RAA Names Nobuyo Reinsch VP-Aviation Safety & Security

Will Provide Subject Matter Expertise On Issues Related To Safety And Security

The Regional Airline Association has appointed Nobuyo Reinsch as Vice President of Aviation Safety & Security. She joined RAA’s staff on August 21. Reinsch was most recently Director of Government Affairs-Security for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).

“I am delighted to welcome Nobuyo to our team,” RAA President and CEO Faye Malarkey Black said. “Nobuyo is an aviation association veteran with a proven track record of representing her members effectively. She’s well known and highly respected by important stakeholders, and her commitment to and understanding of aviation safety and security is outstanding.”
 
“I am extremely excited to be joining RAA,” Reinsch said. “During my 15 years in the industry, I have worked with RAA on a number of occasions and it was always a great pleasure. In my new role as part of the RAA team, I look forward to working with industry and government partners to promote the interests of regional airlines. I believe my experience and industry contacts will enhance RAA’s already strong commitment to aviation safety and security.”
 
At RAA, Reinsch will provide subject matter expertise on issues related to safety and security. She will serve on industry operations and technical task forces and working groups, including agency rulemaking and regulatory negotiating committees, and act as a liaison between RAA and FAA and TSA.
