Company Also Deals In Alternative Energy Technology
Bye Aerospace, Inc., an aircraft design and engineering
outsourcing company, has named John W. Brown Chief Financial
Officer.
Brown, who also serves on the Board of Directors for Bye
Aerospace, has over 30 years of senior management experience in
corporate finance, investment banking, private equity investment,
and early-stage technology companies. He is a founder of Sandia
Capital Partners, LLC, an Albuquerque, N.M.-based corporate finance
advisory and direct investment firm, and was Chief Operating
Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, LLC. Brown is a
Chartered Financial Analyst and has an MBA with Distinction from
the University of Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree in
business from the Anderson School of Management at the University
of New Mexico. In addition to Bye Aerospace, Brown is a member of
the Boards of Directors of the Anderson School of Management
Foundation, Charter Bank, Sagebrush Technology, Inc. and ClingZ,
Inc.
In addition to his duties as CFO, Brown continues to serve as
President of Bye Energy, Inc., an integrator and developer of
alternative energy and bio-derived fuel technologies for business
and general aviation, and a subsidiary of Bye Aerospace. Brown also
oversees all New Mexico business operations for both companies.
George Bye, CEO of Bye Aerospace, thanked Brown for his
continued commitment to help incorporate clean energy solutions
with innovative aircraft design. "John has a unique knowledge of
financial markets, coupled with the strategic skills necessary to
help take both companies to the next level," Bye said.
Brown said both Bye Aerospace and Bye Energy are in the midst of
an exciting transformation from technology development to market
implementation. "I eagerly look forward to my additional role as
Bye Aerospace CFO and the opportunity it will provide me to more
fully participate in the management of both businesses," he
said.
