Duncan Aviation Completes Eight Dassault Falcon 7X 1C Inspections

Has Received Commitments For Additional Inspections Through January 2018

Duncan Aviation’s first Dassault Falcon 7X 1C inspection aircraft arrived at its Lincoln, Neb., MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility in January 2016. This week, out of its Battle Creek, Mich., MRO facility, the company delivered its eighth, with confirmed commitments for more through January 2018 at both facilities.

Falcon 7X operators throughout the United States and as far away as Belgium are trusting Duncan Aviation with the most comprehensive inspection for all Falcon aircraft. “They are looking for an MRO facility that can provide a competitive downtime with the tooling and experience to skillfully work through any discrepancies and concerns that may arise,” says Duncan Aviation Airframe Service Sales Rep Alan Monk. “They are finding it at Duncan Aviation.”

According to Pete Hubbard, Airframe Service Sales Rep, Duncan Aviation is well known by all Falcon operators. “We’ve been an Authorized Service Facility for 22 years. Operators call us to get scheduled not only for the 1C inspection, but for all the smaller inspections that lead up to it.”

Since the interior is removed during this major inspection, it is a great time to get additional work performed. The scope of work associated with Duncan Aviation 1C inspection projects has run the gamut from carpet only to complete interior refurbishment and installation of a new Rockwell Collins Venue Cabin Management System. After eight years in service, complete paint is also common with the 1C on the 7X.

Duncan Aviation’s Falcon 7X experience is broader and deeper than many know.  Beginning in 2008 and over the next six years, Duncan Aviation completed 19 green 7X aircraft, including fabrication of all monuments, shell panels, seat upholstery and full integration of the complete interior and cabin electronics.

As the ADS-B and FANS mandate deadlines approach, Duncan Aviation has seen a high adoption rate of the EASy II avionics systems. There is also a lot of expressed interest in the new Gogo 4G systems and KaBand High data rate Satcom.
