Cirrus Reports Record 2004 Aircraft Orders

Company Racks Up 100+ Sales In December, Foreign Orders Double

Cirrus Design Corporation has reported that 2004 new aircraft orders reached an all-time record of 733 aircraft worldwide. The figure represents an increase of 69% or 301 more aircraft ordered than in 2003. The company also set a new monthly record of 102 new aircraft orders in December.

Cirrus Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, John M. Bingham stated "Cirrus’ record-breaking orders highlight the company’s commitment to provide today’s pilots with the products and features they want. Cirrus’ premium quality, value, and leading performance make a new Cirrus a sensible purchase decision.”

Cirrus attributes the growth in orders to maturity of the domestic direct sales team and establishment of a sales distributor network around the world. In 2004, the export market continued to gain momentum, and orders from foreign markets doubled over the previous year with strong showings in Europe and Australia.

"The commitment of all our employees, together with a focused management team, has helped us achieve record-breaking orders in an increasingly competitive global market place,” Bingham added.
