Gulfstream Names Skyservice As Its First Authorized Warranty Facility In Canada

Toronto-Based Company An Approved Resource For G550, G500, G450, G350, G280, G200 And G150

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Skyservice as its first company-authorized warranty facility in Canada.

The agreement means Skyservice is authorized by Gulfstream to provide maintenance services and repairs within its regulatory approvals on Gulfstream G550, G500, G450, G350, G280, G200 and G150 aircraft. Gulfstream’s authorization applies to Skyservice’s three locations in Toronto, Calgary and Montreal; initially, customer support will be provided by the Toronto site.

Skyservice is one of Canada’s biggest aircraft maintenance, management and charter providers, with fixed-based operation and maintenance services facilities at each of its three locations. The 27-year-old company has almost 500 employees.

“Skyservice has managed and operated Gulfstream aircraft for years and shares Gulfstream’s commitment to providing the best service and support available,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support. “In particular, we are pleased to give our more than 30 Canadian operators and some U.S. operators based near Canada a convenient option for warranty work.”

“We are very excited about becoming an authorized warranty facility for Gulfstream,” said Marshall Myles, president and CEO, Skyservice. “This opportunity will allow us to provide our customers and Gulfstream owners in Canada with more efficient and accessible maintenance solutions. We are investing in technician training, tooling and ground support equipment for Gulfstream aircraft at our Toronto facility and will focus next on our Calgary and Montreal locations.”

Gulfstream’s network of maintenance providers includes 11 company-owned service centers in Asia, Europe, North America and South America, seven Gulfstream-authorized service centers in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, and 14 Gulfstream-authorized warranty facilities in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
