EAA Seeking to Fill 700 Temporary AirVenture Jobs

Walk-In Hiring Events Pending

The Experimental Aircraft Association will presently host walk-in hiring events ahead of its AirVenture 2023 fly-in—the event’s 70th anniversary.

The EAA is looking to hire individuals to fill as many as seven-hundred temporary positions throughout the expansive late-July event.

Available positions include retail associate, security/event support, auto parking cashier, camper registration, facilities staff, and bartender.

Qualified retail and auto parking applicants will be at least 14-years-old. Qualified security applicants will be at least 16-years-old. All other positions require applicants to be a minimum of 18-years-old.

Interested parties are encouraged to apply online prior to the hiring events, the entirety of which will be conducted at the EAA Aviation Museum, 3000 Poberezny Road in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

AirVenture 2023 hiring events will be held:

  • Thursday, 11 May from 16:00 to 19:00 CDT.
  • Saturday, 03 June from 09:00 to 13:00 CDT.
  • Saturday, 24 June from 09:00 to 19:00 CDT
  • Tuesday, 27 June from 09:00 to 17:00 CDT during an event open-house.

Applicants applying at the earliest possible date will have the broadest selection of shifts.

The online application comprises two parts: creating an account and completing the application. Instructions pertaining to the application process are provided at the website.

Persons wishing to apply in person may do so at the kiosk in the EAA Aviation Museum lobby.

Applicants will receive emails confirming the submission of their applications.

Applicants unable to attend the listed hiring events may schedule private interview times by emailing EAA.

EAA AirVenture 2023 gets underway on Monday, 24 July and continues through Sunday, 30 July. The combination fly-in, air-show, convention, expo, and hootenanny is the world’s largest annual gathering of pilots and aviation enthusiasts, and welcomes attendees from upwards of eighty world nations.
