AeroBrigham becomes AeroDisplay

Thermal Imaging, HUD Development Company Joins Hands with Brigham Family Operation

AeroBrigham has announced the acquisition of SKYDISPLAY from MYGOFLIGHT.

The combined company will be known as AeroDisplay, and will focus on creating advanced heads-up display configurations for both airplanes and helicopters. Manufacturing as well as developmental efforts and support will remain in the Denver, Colorado area as they were under Skydisplay. AeroDisplay will eventually offer helicopter STCs under Part 27 along with the existing approvals of FAR Part 23 AML fixed wing STCs.

In addition to their work on HUDs, the company will hone their Enhanced Vision System, the Astronics Max-Vis Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS). That will allow the integration of thermal imaging into the HUD, allowing safer day and night operations through smoke, light rain and fog. The 4-lb AeroDisplay system may be integrated with any thermal imaging system, providing easy integration for firefighting, law enforcement and search and rescue applications.

“Our goal is the continue the development of this game-changing safety enhancement, and continue the legacy of our friend Charlie Schneider,” said David Brigham, now co-owner of AeroBrigham and AeroDisplay. He and his co-founding brother Danny Brigham have grown the operation into a provider of comprehensive fixed and rotary-wing maintenance, overhaul, completion and support services out of Decatur, Texas.
