BatteryMINDer Introduces 28 Volt Aviation Charger-Maintainer-Desulfator

Provides Full Power to All Electronics Plus Fast Recharge And Desulfation

The folks at BatteryMINDer have just introduced a 28 volt battery charger-maintainer-desuflator for the aviation market. Weighing just over seven (7) pounds, this compact unit fulfills the requirements of both shops and owners to fully power all electronics, desulfate weak batteries without removing them from the aircraft, if allowed by manufactures requirements, and rapidly recharge fully discharged batteries in as little as one hour, depending on battery size. It has been estimated to save upwards of three hours of airworthiness-cap testing due to its ability to fully charge completely discharged batteries in the shortest possible time, commensurate with safety.

BatteryMINDer Model 28252-AA-S4 supplies up to 25 amps of ground power from 100-240 VAC, as far as 300 feet (91.44 meters) from the source. Approved by the major aircraft battery makers in the U.S., it can safely charge both sealed and wet cell 24 Volt LA aviation batteries in as little as one (1) hour. Unit fully dissolves sulfate from weak batteries, enabling many to pass FAA airworthiness-capacity tests.

Additional features of the unit include:

  • Plug ‘n Run operation - for basic functions.
  • Worldwide automatic voltage capability - (100-240 Vac 50/60 Hz), with easily exchangeable IEC input power cord sets.
  • Safe, long-term battery maintenance at full-charge level.
  • Voltage balancing for two (2) 12-V series-connected batteries, preventing under-overcharge of either.
  • Modified cell equalization Stage 4 (Pat. Pending) conditions battery prior to capacity testing.
  • Recovers deeply discharged batteries and many of those failing FAA 80% capacity test.
  • Pulse-type Desulfation - uses high frequency, not high voltage, to safely dissolving sulfate, without hurting storage plates.
  • Temperature Compensation (at-the-battery) - ensures full charge over wide range without over / under-charging.
  • Lightweight compact design - less than 8 lbs.
  • (5) Year Warranty - 100% parts and labor.
