400th Learjet 60 XR Aircraft Enters Service With Cinepolis

Mexican Movie Company Took Delivery Of Their Bizjet Tuesday

The 400th manufactured Learjet 60 business jet, a Learjet 60 XR model, was delivered to Cinépolis, a corporation based in Morelia, Mexico, during a special ceremony in Morelia on February 28, 2012.

“We are delighted to mark this event with Cinépolis, a Learjet customer since 2002,” said Fabio Rebello, Regional Vice-President, Sales, Latin America, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “The Learjet 60 aircraft series has a solid reputation in the industry, offering a unique combination of unbeatable performance, value and cabin comfort. This aircraft reflects the long and proud heritage of Learjet business jets as well the innovative design Bombardier is known for.”

Founded in 1994, Cinépolis operates 265 cinemas with 2,690 screens in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Brazil and India. Cinépolis’ parent company, Organización Ramirez SA de CV, also has activities in the real estate and automotive sectors in Mexico.
 
“We are very pleased and proud with our decision to once again purchase a Learjet aircraft,” said Alejandro Ramirez Magaña, CEO, Cinépolis. “This aircraft is the perfect fit for our demanding travel requirements”, added Enrique Ramirez Villazón, President, Cinépolis.
