Evergreen Vintage Museum Files For Bankruptcy

Facility Houses Spruce Goose, Other Classic Aircraft

The company that owns the museum where the Spruce Goose and other classic vintage aircraft are displayed to the public has filed for bankruptcy.

Bloomberg Business Week reports that Evergreen Vintage Aircraft Inc. has filed Chapter 11 papers in a Portland, OR court. The company listed $50 million in assets and more than $100 million in liabilities.

The museum is located in McMinnville, OR. Among the displays are a P-38 lightning and replicas or a Sopwith Camel and Messerschmitt ME-262 jet.

Evergreen Vintage Aircraft was affiliated with Evergreen International Airlines and Supertanker Services Inc, both of which filed for bankruptcy a year ago, according to the court papers.
