Adam Aircraft Announces Craig Johnson as Chief Operating Officer

Adam Aircraft tells ANN that Craig Johnson has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer. Johnson comes to Adam Aircraft from the Northrop Grumman Electronics Sector, where he served as Vice President, Network-Centric Systems; Vice President, F-16 Sensor Systems; Vice President, Supply Chain Management; and Vice President, Aerospace Systems Program Operations. He also held executive positions with AlliedSignal Technical Services Corporation; McDonnell Douglas Corporation (including leading the F-15 Eagle fighter program); and General Dynamics Corporation. Following graduation from the United States Air Force Academy, he served in Southeast Asia, flying more than 85 combat missions in the A-7D and A-10A aircraft.

"We are very pleased to have Craig join our team as Chief Operating Officer," said Adam Aircraft Chairman and CEO Rick Adam.

"We have great growth opportunities ahead, and Craig's talent and experience in aircraft development and manufacturing will be a major contribution to our success."

"With a three-quarter-billion-dollar order backlog and the first of many A500 deliveries last year, we now look forward to Craig providing his production experience to quickly ramp up deliveries to six aircraft per month to meet this strong customer demand," said Joe Walker, Adam Aircraft President.

"I'm delighted to be joining such a talented team and to be associated with the A500 and the A700 aircraft," said Craig Johnson.

"These carbon-composite aircraft represent next-generation twin piston and jet engine designs and embody extremely strong construction with highly safe centerline thrust. I am excited to lead the transition to production and the delivery ramp up of both of these aircraft."
