The HondaJet is taking part in a modern day spin on the classic Around the World in 80 Days when a pair of customers take it on a global tour this month. Honda Aircraft's customers Julian and Kim MacQueen will fly their HondaJet to up to 26 countries as part of the tour, they have entitled "Around the World in 80 Stays."

The world tour will begin at Pensacola International Airport in Florida and conclude when they return to the U.S. in the middle of October. Flybrix, a company founded in 2015, is offering kits that give Lego tinkerers an opportunity to build their own drone out of the blocks. Flybrix was co-founded by MIT alumnus Amir Hirsch. The kits come with all the parts necessary to make a working, flying drone that can be disassembled and rebuilt in a number of different ways. Along the way, builders learn about aerodynamics, electromechanics, and flight basics by building a drone from scratch. Algerian national airline Air Algerie has grounded two pilots who reportedly allowed a 10-year-old boy into the cockpit during a flight between Algiers International Airport and Seif Regional Airport -- letting him manipulate the controls of the airplane. A video was released by Algerian TV channel El Bilad showing the boy wearing a captains hat and sitting in the left seat of the airliner. He appears to be pushing buttons and manipulating the controls guided by the First Officer of the flight in the right seat with the Captain observing from the jump seat in the cockpit. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
