Moyaak Chuol Wins Washington State High School Aerospace Manufacturer Contest

Lindbergh High School Senior Accepts Job At Boeing After Graduation

A high school student in Washington State has been offered, and accepted, a job at Boeing after winning the state's high school Aerospace Manufacturer contest.

Lindbergh High School senior Moyaak Chuol (pictured) is considered the top Aerospace Manufacturer student in Washington state. He was one of four Lindbergh High School students who competed on Saturday in the state Skills USA Aerospace Manufacturers competition at the Boeing plant in Everett under the guidance of Lindbergh High’s Construction/Industrial Technology/Aerospace teacher Creed Nelson,

William Charlot, Kendrick Bynum, Cullen Harris and Moyaak Chuol, competed against students from 14 high schools throughout the state. The competition included hands-on manufacturing projects, a professional mock interview with staff from Boeing’s human resources department, and a resume critique. The seven-hour competition was judged by Boeing employees who are subject-matter experts. All four of the Lindbergh students preformed exceedingly well.

Moyaak has interviewed and accepted a position to work at Boeing immediately after he graduates in June. Congratulations.
