Montaer Expands Factory with 17,500 Square Feet

Expansion Presages Increased Production for Brazilian Facility

Montaer is doubling down on growth with 17,500 square feet of additional factory space, building on the momentum of their MC series of aircraft.

The company will sport the new assembly and integration sections of the Montaer production line, allowing them to build to their target of 24 MC-01 aircraft in 2024. The expansion will hopefully empower them on their march through the USA, Asian, and European markets, additionally helped- along by the 4-seat MC-04. Their recent collaborations set them up nicely, with outside brands to help provide additional parts and equipment like DUC propellers, Garmin avionics, Rotax engines, and Warp Drive props.

Montaer’s current space, 12,000 square feet worth, will see the addition of an annex by July of 2024. The space will be dedicated to machining, composite handling, and painting, if the annex is sufficiently prepped with another booth. The new facilities will be constructed with Brazilian local Poliedro Structures, Once complete, the finished building will hold up to 28 completed aircraft.

"The completion of our new hangar by the end of February and the factory annex by July represents a major leap in our production capabilities and our commitment to continue delivering quality light sport aircraft to our customers. Our partnerships and these new facilities are pivotal in our journey towards setting new standards in the aviation industry."
