Augusta Drone Company Announces New Name And Golf Turf Product

Skyraider Aeronautics Becomes SkyAgTech And Announces Turf Product

Skyraider Aeronautics has announced new services and a rebrand to SkyAgTech. In 2016 SkyAgTech began utilizing special sensors placed on drones to identify crop damage including irrigation failure, pest damage, and disease. SkyAgTech is now expanding their offerings to grass and turf as well as other non-drone agricultural technology solutions.

“We feel the name Skyraider Aeronautics no longer represents who we have become, broadening our solutions as an agricultural technology company," said CEO Daniel Scheiner. "Our new name reflects us maturing into a company dedicated to helping our growers, such as White Oak Pastures, solve their most challenging problems”. Speaking on their new product, Nemea Golf Solutions, Scheiner said, “We have been working closely with the University of Georgia Grass and Turf department and golf course superintendents to create a specialized turn-key integrated solution to identify deficiencies”. University of Georgia Professor Dr. Clint Waltz was quoted as saying “Drone utilization in turf management is the future and will become commonplace for golf courses in the next five to ten years."

SkyAgTech’s Nemea Golf Solutions will help golf courses manage their drone program from top to bottom and use SkyAgTech’s proprietary data processing solution. This will help golf courses save thousands of dollars by minimizing over irrigation as well as herbicide and pesticide spraying.
