SkyTrac Systems Introduces NOTAMs To SkyWeb

Can Be Viewed On The Ground, Cockpit Crews Notified By Email

SkyTrac Systems has added a Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs) feature to their asset management program, SkyWeb. The feature, which allows users to view time critical aeronautical information within the same system they use to monitor other flight data, is available for use by SkyWeb customers.

On the ground, NOTAMs can now be viewed in real time within SkyWeb, while aircrew can receive email notifications directly to the cockpit. This ensures that both dispatchers and aircrew have access to the most up to date situational awareness data. Notices can be simplified through the set-up of radii around specified airports or aircraft, ensuring that users receive only the NOTAMs relevant to their operations.

“The integration of NOTAMs within SkyWeb will optimize our clients’ operations, providing even more flight critical data to enhance safety and increase efficiency,” stated SkyTrac CEO, Stephen Sorocky.
