At EAA AirVenture 2012 Eclipse Aerospace CEO and Chairman, Mason Holland, speaks before a gathered crowd about the involvement of Eclipse Aerospace in a charitable venture known as the Veterans Airlift Command.
In the video, Holland stands in front of an Eclipse 500 that has been refurbished, brought up to current standards, and donated to the Veterans Airlift Command. The airplane was provided by an Eclipse customer, and Eclipse Aerospace put about $500,000 into the airplane for the upgrades. You will also be introduced to the donors of the Eclipse jet seen in this video.
This aircraft will allow the Veterans Airlift Command to have even more capability to provide transportation for veterans that are in need of various services.
United States Air Force General (retired), Richard B. Myers, takes the microphone to thank those who have donated to the cause and to enlightenment all of us about the mission of the Veterans Airlift Command. This is an inspiring video that shows general aviation at its best.
