Bombardier Delivers First CRJ700 to US Airways

Subsidiary PSA Airlines Takes First Aircraft

Bombardier Aerospace has delivered the first of 25 70-seat CRJ700 Series 701(i) regional jets to US Airways' wholly-owned subsidiary PSA Airlines of Dayton, Ohio. It is the first 70-seat aircraft to operate in the US Airways Express fleet.

Bombardier announced on May 12, 2003 that US Airways had placed firm orders for 60 50-seat Bombardier CRJ200(i) and 25 Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft.

PSA Airlines has taken delivery of and operates 16 Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. "We are very excited about the additional capacity and new route possibilities this aircraft brings to our fleet," said Richard E. Pfennig, President and Chief Executive Officer, PSA Airlines. "As we transition into an all-jet carrier, we will bring new levels of comfort and convenience to the communities we serve."

"US Airways' commitment to both the Bombardier CRJ200 and CRJ700 is an endorsement of the proven economics and commonality benefit of the Bombardier CRJ family," said Steven A. Ridolfi, President, Bombardier Regional Aircraft.

Total firm orders for the Bombardier CRJ700 stand at 229 aircraft. The Bombardier CRJ program, the largest in regional aircraft history, has received 1,356 firm orders to date.
