Aero-News AirVenture Update: ANN Coverage Of AirVenture

ANN Will Give You The Best Coverage Ever At AirVenture; Our Crew Is Motivated, Capable, And Hyped

Our partnership with EAA grows stronger every year, and while that’s obvious to us, this year at EAA AirVenture 2016 everyone will see it. Our ANN coverage of AirVenture 2016 will be like none other before.

Key to this is the fact that this year we are showing up with 28 motivated, if not slightly crazy, staffers to cover AirVenture in a way that is as unique as it is complete. With this kind of coverage, we have the ability to provide more interviews, more general news coverage, and a greatly expanded presence of our Airborne Unlimited video programming.

We are already on property in Oshkosh working on our AirVenture Innovation Preview programming. It will whet the whistle of the aviation population with 40, or more, short, 3 to 4 minute online multi-media presentations offering a glimpse into what will be ‘really new’ at Oshkosh this year.

And in case we miss something that is really cool, we are initiating our first time ‘#OSH16Coolest’ program that allows you to tweet us about your opinion of what is ‘so cool.’ No matter what it is, if it’s cool to you, it’s cool to us. More details coming up on this in another Aero-News AirVenture Update.

During AirVenture, we should probably change our name of our video programming from Airborne Unlimited to “Airborne Unhinged” because of all the exciting subjects we’ll be bringing you during our broadcasts from Oshkosh. The entire Airborne Unlimited crew, which will include, Bi Cross, Christopher C. Odom, our News Editor - Tom Patton, and of course the boss - Jim Campbell. We’ll be covering all that’s going on, all that’s new, and all that’s cool.

One of the big projects that ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, is working on this week is preparing for a major interview with EAA’s president, Jack Pelton. Because there is so much to be covered, Jim will be hosting a five-part interview with Jack. It’s guaranteed that Jim and Jack will be talking about much more than what’s going on with EAA. Jack Pelton’s background in so many facets of aviation allows him to provide us with insights that you won’t get anywhere else.

And, to make sure Jim touches on as many topics as possible with Jack, he is asking for your help. If there are things you would like Jim to address when talking with Jack, let us know. Send a brief message by email to Jim@Aero-News.net. You’re running out of time, so get that email to Jim right away if you want him to work it into the discussion with EAA’s president.

There will be hundreds of stories and at some point, Jim says mystery announcements are coming regarding Aero-News Network in the future. Whether you are at AirVenture or watching from the outside, you won’t want to miss ANN’s ‘Oshkosh adventure.’

And don’t forget, the entire Airborne Unlimited coverage actually starts on Saturday afternoon, July 23rd with the broadcast of our “AirVenture Innovation Preview 2016.”

We are proud to say that Aero-News Network has AirVenture covered like never before, and like no one else.
