Shadin Avionics Announces New CEO

Former Honeywell VP Mike Ingram Installed as Chief Executive Officer

Maverick Investment Company, the parent corporation of Shadin Avionics, has announced the newest man to head the small aerospace company. Mike Ingram, industry veteran, will take the helm as Chief Executive Officer and President. His background in avionics, systems engineering and design, software development, certification, and product management made him a good choice to help Shadin Avionics grow into its next era. Maverick hopes his guidance will help sharpen the companies growing Flight Performance and Aircraft Interface Systems in the wider market.

Ingram has been involved in many successful products, working in integrated flight decks, engine display systems, and similar lines that went from the drawing board to strong market leaders. Until now, he has served as VP and general manager of the Avionics Business Unit at Honeywell Aerospace, where he led the product management to a sales peak of $2 billion across the company's business, general aviation, transport, and military sales.

“Mike will be an excellent President & CEO of Shadin Avionics and we are excited that he has joined the team. He is a strong and positive business leader with a broad network in the aerospace industry and will leverage his deep technical and business experience to find new opportunities for Shadin Avionics’ existing Engine Monitoring and Interface Converter products, all while growing the company’s other product lines,” said Michael Healy, Chairman of Maverick Investment Company. “With his 25+ years of development, commercial and operational experience, and a track record of managing profitable growth, Mike is the right leader for the next phase of growth at Shadin Avionics.”

“I’m thrilled to be joining Shadin Avionics at this transformative time in the aerospace industry," said Ingram. "With so much new development in defense, sustainable, connected and autonomous aviation, I look forward to working with the team to adapt, accelerate, and grow the business to create long-term value for our customers and owners.”
