Source: Federal Air Marshal Frank Terreri, commenting on the Federal Air Marshal Service's order to its marshals to disregard a new rule that would give marshals "trusted agent" status and allow them to board the aircraft separately from other passengers. Instead, the marshals board at the convenience of the airlines -- meaning, in essence, that means the marshals' ability to board the plane discretely rests with a single gate agent.
