Opening Today: New Hangar, Renovated MMU Facility

Signature Flight Support will hold a grand opening to celebrate the completion of its state-of-the-art Corporate Aviation Hangar and renovation of its flight support operation (FSO) at Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU) today. The grand opening will be held in Hangar 1 and is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. An open house will also give customers a chance to tour the newly remodeled passenger facility.

"The grand opening allows us to show our guests the beautiful new building and significant improvements to passenger and crew amenities," said Beth Haskins, president and CEO of Signature. "We’re excited about how these changes will serve our customers, and we look forward to our continued relationship with Morristown Municipal Airport."

Signature’s new hangar can accommodate several large business aircraft and is equipped with a full foam fire-suppressant system, security-controlled access and surveillance cameras. Amenities include separate restrooms, showers, a locker room and galley area.

The newly-remodeled passenger terminal features a spacious, comfortable lounge, conference room, business offices with computer support and Internet access, crew lounge, quiet room and flight planning with Internet capabilities.
