Drone World Expo Announces Gold Sponsors

Global Aerospace, MicaSense, And Oceaneering Supporting The Defining Event For Commercial Drone Users

Drone World Expo is pleased to announce the addition of new sponsors for the 2016 event, which will be taking place from Tuesday, November 15 – Wednesday, November 16 at the San Jose Convention Center. Global Aerospace, a leading provider of aerospace insurance; MicaSense, which offers sensor technologies for unmanned aircraft systems/drones and cloud-based data processing, presentation, and analytics solutions, and Oceaneering, a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, join other Gold Sponsors Aerovel, Autel Robotics, Kespry, LeddarTech, Precision Integrated Programs, Saxon Remote Systems (formerly Skynet UAVS) and MAPPS.

Platinum sponsors of Drone World Expo include AeroVironment, the Commercial Drone Alliance, Esri, Intel Corporation and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

In addition to being a Gold Sponsor, MicaSense will also be offering a pre-conference workshop on Monday, November 14, “Working the Field from 400 Feet: Essential Tools for Success in Agriculture.”

Global Aerospace, Intel Corporation and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. will be presenting special Sponsored Forums during the Drone World Expo conference that will be open to all attendees.

The exhibit hall will be buzzing with the latest innovations for the UAS industry from notable companies who will be showcasing their products, speaking in the Tech Talk Theater, and providing live demonstrations on the show floor. The exhibit hall will be open on Tuesday, November 15 from 10 am – 6:00 pm with a networking reception from 5:00 – 6:00 pm and on Wednesday, November 16 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm with a networking reception from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. Throughout the exhibit hours there will be Tech Talks and live demonstrations in special theaters on the show floor where attendees will hear from innovators who are taking drone technology to the next level.
