3000 Pounds Of Supplies Donated By Montgomery Rescue
Mission
In a partnership with Alabama Governor Bob Riley's office, EADS
North America is sending an Airbus Military C-212 tactical
transport aircraft to Haiti with nearly 3,000 pounds of relief
supplies aboard. The cargo of food and clothing was provided by
Montgomery Rescue Mission, a non-profit agency assisted by Gov.
Riley's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, under the
leadership of First Lady Patsy Riley.

"Alabamians know all too well the devastation caused by natural
disasters and so many have donated to help relieve the human
suffering in Haiti," said Governor Riley. "The donations being
transported on this aircraft will go to help children of the Faith
Crusade Orphanage, which cares for more than 150 children and is
supported by the Montgomery Rescue Mission. I thank EADS North
America for being an outstanding corporate citizen and donating the
use of this aircraft, and I commend all those who are working to
get these needed relief supplies to these children in Haiti."
"We're pleased to be able to help Gov. Riley and the good people
of Alabama bring aid to Haiti's earthquake victims, who are still
in terrible need," said Sean O'Keefe, EADS North America CEO. "The
Governor and all of our neighbors in Alabama have shown EADS and
its divisions tremendous support and friendship over the years, and
we are happy to have an opportunity to assist them with such a
worthy endeavor."
The C-212 left for Haiti Tuesday morning from Airbus Military
North America's aircraft support facility at the Mobile Regional
Airport.
The HC-144 was among several EADS airplanes, helicopters and
related technologies employed by the U.S. Coast Guard, Army and Air
Force for humanitarian operations in Haiti following January 12
earthquake there.
