Third Annual Cirrus Migration Announced For June 3-5, '05

The Third Annual Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association Migration (M3) Is Coming To Duluth, MN

Like birds returning to the nest, members of the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association will flock to the birthplace of their aircraft for the third annual Migration, or M3. This has become a trendsetting aviation event, emulated by other type groups and clocking 50% growth each year. M3 is shaping up to be bigger, better, more informative, and more fun for 2005.

The themes for COPA, safety, education and the spirit of camaraderie, resonate at the Migrations. This year there will be ample opportunity over the course of M3 for hangar flying, socializing, and special, M3-only educational events.

Indeed, Cirrus pilots and those who love them will find the varied agenda at M3 a perfect balance of aviation, education and fun. And new this year is a shift in educational seminar scheduling. Outside of the classroom, and only at M3, members will have the opportunity to team up with a CFI for a "rust-removal" flight.

And the "Partner-In-Command" training course that debuted at M2 will once again be offered to non-pilot spouses and frequent partners of Cirrus pilots as part of an extensive partner agenda.

M3 means entertainment for all. At M3's Saturday night banquet, featured speaker Dave Gwinn will engage the audience with his "Skytalk Humor." He'll also give a seminar on weather. And motivational humorist and CFII Cath Fish will present "Flying Fun for Right-Seaters," a key element of the parallel partner agenda.

M3 will be another record-setting year, with over 60 vendors exhibiting at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. This growth reflects the expanding selection of aftermarket products available for the ever-growing fleet of Cirrus aircraft.

The nearly 2000-member Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) is a not-for-profit membership organization established to educate, promote the safety of, and support the owners and pilots of certified aircraft manufactured by Cirrus Design Corporation. Throughout the year, COPA organizes social activities and educational events such as the Cirrus Pilots Proficiency Program (CPPP) and Critical Decision Making (CDM) seminars.
