Ship It AOG Names New Chief Operating Officer

Raymond Goyco To Manage Day-To-Day Operations

International aviation parts distributor Ship it AOG announced Monday the promotion of Raymond Goyco to the position of chief operating officer (COO).

Goyco, who joined Ship it AOG in 2006 as vice president of sales and marketing, will now assume responsibility for the overall administration and management of the administrative and business operations of the organization.

"In just two and a half years, Ray has become a valuable asset who has made an important contribution to our company's growth and success, and I am confident he will provide the strong leadership that will enable us to move our company forward to face the new challenges of the 21st century," said George Miller, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Ship it AOG.

Goyco will oversee the day-to-day management of the company, as well as marketing, business development, professional development for employees, and liaison with the CEO and chief financial officer.

"My goal is to perform above and beyond the level expected of me by our client base while incorporating strong personal integrity and a collaborative management style to build and sustain productive, effective working relationships with our staff and our customers around the world," said Goyco.

Prior to joining Ship it AOG, Goyco served in sales and marketing positions with Raytheon Corporation and Aviall, Inc., and served as a lieutenant in the US Air Force.
