ASA Publishes 2023 Test Prep and Guide Books

ASA's Test Prep Books, Guides, and Software Packages Begin Shipping November 1

The ASA's 2023 Test Prep, Test Guides, and Test Prep Plus packages are set to begin shipping November 1.

The new editions of the books and software will include a number of updates and additions from knowledge gleaned over the last 2 years, bringing them up to date with the most accurate testing information ASA could publish. Available publications range from the traditional test prep books for Airman Knowledge Tests, Test Guides for Aviation Mechanics, and preparation software. ASA’s Prepware is available for solo purchase or as part of a pack with its paper publications.

ASA has been honing their test prep system for more than 80 years, working with the industry and students to create the gold standard in Knowledge Test preparation. The current ASA library allows students to pick from the full range of FAA tests for most of the usual certificates or ratings sought for those involved in general aviation. First, Test Prep books contain questions and answers for the exam, with the FAA’s CT-8080 appendix included for additional familiarization with the test materials. Each book includes 5 online practice tests. Test Guides fulfill a similar function for those preparing for the A&P certification with the same testing allotment.

Prepware combines the contents of the physical test prep book with the added benefits of computer-based training, building on the level of depth included in print media with additional graphics, study, and review modes. The download installs to PC or Mac, with the aforementioned 2-year sub to Prepware Online. Should it be desired, that component may be purchased alone in any database topic, providing all the same study and test features for any internet-connected device. The online component integrates to ASA Prepware School for student support and tracking, available for flight schools and training centers.
