Heli-Expo 2006: JETNET/AvData Launches Helicopter Database Service

JETNET/AvData has launched their new helicopter database service, covering some 25,000 rotary wing airframes around the globe. The helicopter service will make its debut at the HELI-EXPO; the world’s largest tradeshow dedicated to the civil helicopter industry.

JETNET/AvData is the ultimate source for data on business aircraft worldwide. The company’s database houses both fixed wing and the new helicopter services. Headquartered in its state-of-the-art facility in Utica, NY, JETNET/AvData offers comprehensive user-friendly aircraft data via real time internet access or regular updates.

The new helicopter service is the largest and most complete civil helicopter database available, encompassing piston and turbine-powered helicopters worldwide. Helicopter data provided includes highly detailed owner/operator information, base location, interior/exterior photos, as well as comprehensive airframe and power plant specifications. This database contains the most complete and current listing of helicopters available for sale, trade or lease as well as transaction histories on individual airframes. No fee is charged to owners for their JETNET/AvData aircraft listing. Packaged in JETNET/AvData’s highly popular Evolution interface, users are afforded access to a vast array of sort and search features, fleet and market reports, data export privileges and all the benefits of a completely on-line and relational database architecture.

“JETNET for helicopters has been in the making for quite a while now,” President of JETNET/AvData, Vincent Esposito said.

“It’s thrilling to see the concept come to fruition. We’ve spent nearly two decades in fixed wing research and have now chosen to methodically apply all we have learned, including research and programming talents, to create the very best helicopter service on the market.”

JETNET/AvData delivers essential information tailored for the aviation professional or business that relies on thorough, up-to-the-minute aircraft data to remain competitive. Aircraft sales professionals, fixed base operators, financial institutions and other industry experts use the company’s data in support of aircraft transaction activities, for direct solicitation of relevant services to aircraft owners/operators, and to observe and access the aircraft marketplace.
