Aero-TV: Boeing Business Jets - Building a Solid Future for the King of BizJets

The BBJ Continues to Represent The Pinnacle Of Business Travel

While at NBAA2014, ANN News Editor Tom Patton checked on what is going on with the business jet side of the Boeing Company.

This gave him the opportunity to talk with the president of Boeing Business Jets’ Steve Taylor. Tom’s first question was about Boeing’s statement that their bizjet market looks good.

Taylor explains the world of the big business jets by saying that the last few years in this market have been slow. However, sales are now up and he says Boeing owes a lot of that to the 737 Max airplane. While Taylor explains that speed and range are key features, the video shows us the other features that the travelers really care about, and that’s interior configurations.

Taylor points out that sales of the Boeing 777 and 747 business jet versions are also picking up business in the realm of providing transportation for heads of state. When we use the term, “bizjet” it brings to mind the vision of a typical corporate-type airplane. In this video we see that that term also applies to the big jets as well.
