Qref Expands Lineup to Include Aircraft Checklists

Includes Pre-Flight, Landing, And Emergency Procedures

Qref Media announced recently that it is expanding its lineup of the avionics quick reference with aircraft procedure checklists. 23 new aircraft models are now available, with new models being added every week.

"We designed these checklists for use in the real world. They are configured to maximize pilot effectiveness in the most demanding conditions, including turbulence, instrument weather, and high cockpit workload," according to Qref authors and highly-experienced flight instructors Gene Hudson and Bridgette Doremire. "We brought to bear over 50 years of combined checklist design experience, as well as the latest research in the human factors of checklist design and cockpit workload management."

Qref aircraft checklists are available in two formats to suit pilots' experience and preference: a compact, multi-page "Q'Book" format, and a single-page, double-sided "Q'Card" checklist. Q'Books are professionally designed in full color and include procedures from preflight to landing, a full range of abnormal and emergency procedures, a V-speed and cruise performance tables, and many other helpful tips. Q'Cards come in a 2-pack: one card for normal procedures and one for emergencies. Both styles measure approximately 4.5" x 8", perfect for use on a yoke mount, and were designed with large type for easy reference.

"There is more experience behind Qref checklists than any other checklist on the market", says Jason Clemens, President and Publisher for Qref Quick Reference Media. "Qref brings to aircraft procedures the same experience-driven, expert knowledge we incorporate into our avionics checklists. Our recent FAA FITS-acceptance of Qref avionics checklists further highlight this difference."

Currently, Qref offers checklists for the most popular Cirrus, Cessna, Diamond, and Piper single-engine aircraft, with hundreds more in development.
