Hawkair Selects Executive For Women In Leadership Program

Canadian Regional Carrier Taps Jocelyn Labell For The Training

Canadian regional airline Hawkair has selected Jocelyn Lebell for the Women in Leadership Executive Development Program. "Jocelyn is a promising young executive who has demonstrated an ability to see how elements fit in a global context." said Jay Dilley President of Hawkair.  "We're excited about the impact Jocelyn's leadership will have on the organization as this skill set is deployed through rotating assignments as the Director of Corporate Service, Director of Aviation Services and Director of Airline"

The Women in Leadership Executive Development Program focuses on developing women's own leadership style and preparing participants for various leadership roles within the organization over a rigorous 24 months that includes education, leadership assignments, mentoring and industry participation.

"I am grateful and humbled to be selected as the first participant in Hawkair's Women in Leadership Program" said Jocelyn Lebell Revenue Manager "I look forward to learning from other facets of the company and broadening my experience."

Jocelyn`s program roadmap includes continuing to pursue the CPA-CMA designation, an Airline Diploma, Executive Leadership Certificate, and sharing responsibility for helping people connect to the world around us through her leadership in three different business units over the next 24 months.

Hawkair operates a fleet of four DeHavilland Dash-8 aircraft with seating capacity from 37 to 50 passengers. Its route network includes four cities, including Terrace-Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Smithers and Vancouver.
